POP work is plaster of Paris, built up on site rather than assembled from boards. That makes it the right choice for shaped designs, curved edges and stepped levels that have to follow an existing beam or duct. We set the levels from the room itself, reinforce the joints, and finish in coats so the surface sands down flat and takes paint without showing lines.
